New Donor Reports – LYBUNT, AYBUNT

Two new reports have been added to FoundationHub under the Relationship Management Tab:

LYBUNT

AYBUNT

LYBUNT and AYBUNT are acronyms for groups of donors that have given before but not within the current calendar year.

LYBUNT (pronounced "lie-bunt") means donors who have given Last Year But Unfortunately Not This. This refers specifically to donors who gave in the immediately preceding (last) calendar year but not in the current calendar year.

AYBUNT (pronounced "ay-bunt") means donors who have given Any Year But Unfortunately Not This. This refers specifically to donors who gave in any preceding calendar year but not in the current calendar year.

Below is an example to illustrate these definitions:

An organization is running LYBUNT and AYBUNT reports on December 31, 2022.

The last gift from donor Charlotte Shields was in 2022. Marty Lane gave last in 2021. Janae Neal gave last in 2020. Ronin Tate gave last in 2019.

As of December 31, 2022

The report headers are shown below:

Customer ID – customer ID of the donor. This is a clickable link that takes the user to the donor’s profile.

First Name – First Name of the donor (blank if the Donor is an organization)

Last Name – Last Name / Organization Name of the donor

Organization – Is Donor an Organization (Yes) or Individual (No)

Salutation – Primary Salutation for the Donor

Email – Primary Email for the Donor

Address Type – Address Type of the Donor’s Primary Address

Address1-4, City, State, ZIP – Address Lines of the primary address of the Donor

PY Count – Number of Gifts Made in Prior Calendar Year

PY Total – Total Dollar Amount of Gifts Made in Prior Calendar Year

All Count – Total Number of Gifts Made by Donor

All Total – Total Dollar Amount of Gifts Made by Donor

Last Gift Date – Date of Last Gift Received from Donor

Last Gift Total – Dollar Amount of Last Gift Received from Donor

Last Fund Number – Fund Number of Fund for Last Gift

Last Fund Name – Fund Name of Fund for Last Gift

The report runs in descending order by Last Gift Date and can be exported to Excel for analysis or creation of mailing lists etc.

Note that if the LYBUNT and AYBUNT reports are run for the same date, the LYBUNT donors will appear on the AYBUNT report – since they are technically AYBUNT donors AND LYBUNT donors.

Report Filters

The reports can be filtered by Fund Type, Audit Type and Sub-Type
