Profile Charitable Interests

The “Charitable Interests” section provides Donors with a place to best reflect their own areas of interest. Foundations can take this information into account when providing potential giving opportunities. The interests will allow you to target the most compatible charitable giving to your Donors. The three example areas of interest shown at the bottom are “Geographic Location,” “Populations,” and “Philanthropic Areas of Interest.”

These areas of interests are created under “Create Initiative Category.” For example, you could add a new category “Continents,” with the first interest being “Europe.”

You could then manage your new interest under “Manage Initiatives Categories” à “Edit Category.”

Here you are able to create as many different interests as you deem applicable. Note: All interests will be sorted alphabetically after you save them.

Show:

When “Show” is selected, the Charitable Interests section is shown to Donors, providing them with a more customizable experience.

Hide:

When “Hide” is selected, the Charitable Interests section is removed from the left side menu.
